Precautions for Wig Care

Avoid high temperatures: As wigs are not resistant to high temperatures, it is advisable to avoid exposing them to high temperatures as much as possible.

Professional Trimming: If you need to trim, it is recommended to hire a professional stylist to maintain the natural appearance of your hair and the health of your scalp.

Regular cleaning: It is generally recommended to clean the wig every 1 to 2 months, and the specific frequency should be adjusted according to personal use.

Correct cleaning: Use cold or warm water and regular hair washing products to clean the wig. After washing, it is not advisable to use a hair dryer to dry it. Instead, place the wig in a dry towel to absorb excess moisture and then lay it flat in a ventilated area to avoid direct sunlight damage.

Notes on combing: After washing, it is not advisable to comb the wig immediately. It should wait for it to dry before proceeding. You can use specialized wig combs (such as steel or iron combs) to avoid using plastic combs to prevent damage to the wig. For curly hair, you can gently tidy it with your hands instead of using a comb.

Maintenance and repair: If there is a knotting problem with the wig, do not pull it forcefully. Instead, spray the wig's specialized non oily maintenance solution and carefully separate the knotted parts with your fingers. It is not recommended to use styling agents such as hair wax or water on wigs to avoid making them sticky.

Storage method: The wig should be stored in its original packaging when not in use, and can be restored to its original state by simply shaking it during use.

The above steps can help protect wigs from damage and extend their lifespan.
